Al Short (they/them) is a illustrator and craftsperson from the Pacific Northwest.

While at Sable, Al wove baskets, made a painting, processed nettle fiber and talked about dead stuff. They also finished tanning a goat hide named Jasper.

In their free time, Al enjoys foraging edible plants, weaving baskets, animal tracking, farming, and drinking milk.
