Calling all clowns! (Or even just the clown curious!)

Our upcoming Food & Art Friday will include a clown workshop as well as a performance open to the public. We're thrilled to welcome to the stage our new Community Engagement Organizer: Bex aka content clown.

The evening will also include works in progress from our fabulous first cohort of Sable 2023 Artists and, of course, pizza from Fat Dragon Farm. Details below!

Elemental Clowning Workshop

Friday, June 16th @ 3:30pm

This workshop will be a weaving of clown and nature based practices! A mix of Jaques LeCoq, Pochinko, elemental exploration, and pure play time!! Pre-registration is required, since we will be capping the workshop at 20 folks! It is open to adult/teen clowns of all levels of experience, even just the clown curious! Suggested donation: $20 - $50. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Brave New Worm is a whimsical one-clown puppet show for those ready to be reborn! Part sweet singer songwriter tunes, part yowling into the void, this show is guaranteed to make existential dread fun again!

content clown is a constant attempt to return to gratitude and play. They are formed sonically by Bex Love and reformed spiritually every time they make a new friend! In their performance work, they weave together song and puppetry to create theatrical experiences that have been described as: "a fever dream" "really out there" and "fun." As a faSILLYtator, they help others find their own inner clown through nature based practices and pure ridiculousness!
