Jay Spencer (he/they) is a photographer and mixed media artist based in Richmond, VA. He came to Sable with the intention to create and experience life away from the daily distractions technology and society has for you.

At his residency, he worked on watercolor and oil pastel, gathered frequencies from plants to use as soundscapes with his photographs, and worked on personal journalism, self love, and his connection with the earth.
