Maddie Higgs (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist from Daytona Beach, Florida; now based in East Lansing, Michigan. While at Sable, Maddie explored new applications for bio plastic and practiced bobbin lace with metal wire. She wrote a song for the first time with her Kalimba and read three books.
