Mary-Hannah McWilliams

Mary-Hannah McWilliams is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is inspired by community, disruption, and the human body. Primarily a theater-maker, she seeks to understand grief, trauma, and healing through physical and devised theater practice and ritual Her other mediums include song-writing, performance art, contact improvisation, and poetry. A native Texan who grew up just outside Dallas, Mary-Hannah moved to the East Coast to live and study. She is a proud alum of National Theater Institute and currently studies Theater and gender/Women’s Studies at Connecticut College. While at Sable, Mary-Hannah hopes to collaborate with the land to create site-specific performances. Her only regret about living off-grid is being unable to watch videos of baby goats on the Internet.
