Olivia Niessink
Olivia Niessink (she/they) is a writer and photographer from Northern Michigan and currently based in Chicago. While at Sable, Olivia collaged and wrote a zine of short stories and poems inspired by the importance of community. This came quite naturally, because the community she found at Sable was really worth writing about. She also took a lot of pictures of the land and her new friends on her mom's 1990 Minolta.
Fun Fact: Olivia thinks "Les Miserables" is the most genius piece of art ever produced, and wishes Victor Hugo was in their Sable cohort so she could pick his brain and sing at him.
