Company Mission Statement:
Bryce Dance Company is a Vermont-based inter-generational performance company with two branches - a community-based company and a professional touring company.
We create collaborative, community engaged work that reflects the stories and interests of individuals in the place in which the work is created. We believe that art is vital and transformative. Community engaged art has the power to break down barriers and bring people together.
Bryce Dance Company frequently invites alternative populations (i.e.; elders, children, individuals without formal dance training) into the creation of new work in order to accurately reflect the experiences of individuals and to open dialogue.
Bryce Dance Company strives to expose new audiences to dance and make dance accessible to all audiences. We provide opportunities for choreographers to show work in professional productions and encourage dialogue between the audience and the artists in order to increase accessibility and understanding.
