Rae (Rachel) Govette is from Suisun City, California (it’s halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco). Rae’s artistic mediums are paint, pens, pencil, charcoal, pastels, collage, yarn, ukulele, and whatever else they can find. Rae’s main goal or project while at Sable is to find or create a point to their art. They are looking for meaning. It’s slow going.

Fun Fact: We (the current Sable residents) are writing these bios on paper by candle light, rain tapping on the tin roof, the smell of black raspberry pie slowly wafting over us, while Jess hopes we finally give her these words.
