Sydonia Axis (they/them) is a cross disciplinary artist who finds their creative practice at the confluence of farming, cooking, herbalism, photography & collage. They feel that art is an active collaboration with the world around them & that the curation of space is always a part of the creative practice.

Sydonia grew up between the corn fields of Ohio & the beaches of Rhode Island, but currently resides in Plainfield, Vermont. While at Sable, Sydonia compiled a cookbook zine from recipies they have created & compiled, collaged together with their own photography & found images. They were often seen with a camera slung over their shoulder documenting the slow beauty of Sable time.
